About the Proprietor – Howard Morris

Hello Everyone,

I was born in Bootle in the UK (just outside Liverpool), moved to Australia in 1988 and have lived in the Canberra area since 2003.

About my own collecting interests, currently it’s the early Great Britain (GB) and New Zealand stamps and in particular, GB Queen Victoria Line Engraved Stamps.

I’m Editor of Capital Philately, the Journal of the Philatelic Society of Canberra and have written a number of articles for the journal on Great Britain and New Zealand stamps. Recent articles are presented here.

Over the past couple of years I’ve plated a significant number of GB 1d Reds, both imperfs and stars, and have plenty available for purchase. A selection is shown on the website, and I’ll be loading up new stamps on a continuing basis.

I look forward to providing a great service to fellow collectors. Please don’t hesitate to contact me by either phone or email.

Best Wishes,

Howard
